home fellowship

Home fellowships are an amazing time to get together with other individuals and families from Calvary La Habra, pray, eat some food, listen to a discussion about what Jesus and the disciples encountered in the days leading up to Jesus’ death and resurrection, and share what we learn with each other. It’s always a wonderful time to get to know the body of Christ and to draw nearer to Him during Passion Week. We will have sign-ups to help you get connected and placed in a local home near you for Monday/Tuesday.

Seder service

SEDER IS A SPECIAL SERVICE, WHERE WE OBSERVE A TRADITIONAL PASSOVER WITH THE SYMBOLIC ELEMENTS FOUND IN THE OLD TESTAMENT. WE CONNECT GOD’S PROMISES FROM THE PAST WITH JESUS’ FULFILLMENT OF THOSE PROMISES, AND EXAMINE WHY WE OBSERVE THESE CUSTOMS TODAY. THE SETTING IS INFORMAL, AND INCLUDES SPECIAL WORSHIP AND SCRIPTURE READING, AS WELL AS SAMPLES OF ALL THE ELEMENTS.
